Formula 1 driver Lando Norris has featured on The Sunday Times Young Power List 2025. The Somerset-born driver, who contended for the Formula One World Drivers' Championship in 2024 is one of 30 people who have been named 'the most inspiring young people in the UK' across a range of fields, including the arts, politics, business, tech and sport.

Norris, 25, was born in Bristol and raised in Glastonbury and started karting aged seven. He made his F1 debut with McLaren in 2019 at the Australian Grand Prix.

The star had his first podium finish at the Austrian Grand Prix in 2020 and had to wait until the Miami Grand Prix 2024 for his first race win. As of the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix, which takes place on Sunday, April 6, Norris has achieved five race wins, 10 pole positions, 14 fastest laps, and 28 podiums in total.

Norris joins the likes of businesswoman Molly-Mae Hague, 25, and actress Bella Maclean, 27. All of the people incided on the list have been interviewed by The Times discussing their journeys to success, challenges they’ve faced, lessons they’ve learned, and the passion that drives them in their respective fields.

Joshua Reynolds – Liberal Democrat MP – Maidenhead, Berkshire – 25 years old
