Wilfried Zaha has been watched by Monaco sporting director Michael Emenalo as the French giants step up their pursuit ahead of a January move.

Crystal Palace winger Zaha was scouted by former Chelsea official Emenalo during last weekend's 1-0 victory over Huddersfield - where Zaha netted the game's only goal, as reported by London News Online.

The Ligue 1 side is in the market for a new forward after Thomas Lemar joined Atletico Madrid in the summer.

Zaha was a summer target for Chelsea and Tottenham but instead he signed a five-year deal to stay at Selhurst Park in August.

The Blues and Spurs are likely to resume their interest if Monaco continue to sniff around.
