Contango Announces Public Offering of Common Stock

HOUSTON, Nov. 15, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Contango Oil & Gas Company (NYSE American:MCF) (“Contango” or the “Company”) today announced the launch of an underwritten public offering of its common stock. The underwriters will have an option to purchase additional shares of common stock from the Company. Proceeds from the offering are expected to be used to reduce borrowings under the Company’s revolving credit facility and for general corporate purposes, including funding future potential acquisitions.

Cowen and Intrepid Partners are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
